Smack Trading

What is it, Week 4, when the Packers of Green Bay meet the Minnesota Farves? Whenever, it's a Monday night, with all the world watching.

I think we need to start a pool.
How many times with Farve be sacked?

Before you Purple Farve fans gets you're faux horns stuck some place we won't talk about here, stop and think about something: The Packers D-Line has a lot more motivation to put you-know-who's ass in the grass than the The Farves O-Line has to keep him on his feet.

I think we can all agree on that, yeah?

OK, back to the game...
I'm predicting six sacks, two to take place in the 1st quarter.
Any takers?

I'll throw in another...
A battered and twice humiliated Farve will announce his retirement on November 2nd.

  1. Round about these parts I'm hearing plenty about the Vikings being the favorite. I've even heard that anything short of the Super Bowl would be a disappointment. Buy your Xanax now folks!

I'll take Favre to sit unceremoniously 3 times, but in a losing effort. Packers win the division at 11-5.

  3. Favre's consecutive starts streak will come to an end this season, it's just a question of when.

I think the Vikes-Pack split their two meetings this season (home team wins each game). But GB needs to worry less about Favre and more about Adrian Peterson. A.P. has averaged 113 yards per game (6.3 yds per carry) in four matchups against GB.

  4. Are you saying Favrey will actually make it to game 4?
