Thanks for a Great Season, Packers

Going from 6-10 to 11-5 is good progress. I like my team's quarterback a lot. We'll be back. Now we have to go get some more defensive backs....

Oh, and good luck to the Vikings, too.

  1. after a slow start, the pack really finished strong. i'd say, if you consider the first few games to be trial and error, the pack was the better team in the division.
and rodgers? lookout. i think he's gonna out-brett brett in the hearts of the fans if given the time to do so.

  2. I've got to give Rodgers some big props for this game and for his whole season. He irked me with hanging onto the ball too long earlier in the season, but it's hard to argue with the progress he made in pulling out a lot of victories and never getting flustered. He's got a future.

  3. 'Twas a valiant effort today -- my condolences to the Grumpy Old Packer Backers.

  4. I was very surprised (and more than a little impressed) that the Packers D performed so well the last six games without Aaron Kampman and Al Harris. Dunno what happened today but I'm not sure the '85 Bears could have slowed down the Cards either.

  5. That was the kind of game that was fun to watch, and the Pack played hard enough I'm not even upset by our loss.
    Yep, we'll be back.

  6. why didn't either team use more blitzing schemes? The Cards were rushing 3 down and trying for coverage with poor defenders! Of course the other team is gonna light you up with experienced q'backs like Warner and Rogers Wilco! Good season for the Pack, except for that loss to Tampa.

  7. Ah, umm, Mr. D, they had a good season, NOT "great".

A-Rodg is the real deal. I would rather have him than Fav-ray. But Fav-ray is better than T-Jack...

I won my fantasy football superbowl!!! Skol Wiseguys!!!

That's what we call "damning with faint praise," K-Rod.

But I take your point about good rather than great. Just trying to be encouraging to the boys. Forgot to add the grumpiness, which I usually reserve for the Cowboys.
