Is Our Government Whacked or What?

First the IRS started buying shotguns and now the Department of Education is looking to add to its weapons stockpile. Does our government fear us? Why does the IRS or the frickin’ Department of Non-Education need shotguns? Both are stories are from FedBizOpps.gov, the Federal purchasing site, hardly a whacked-out right wing scare-blog. Both call for 14" barrels, while us mere citizens are limited to 18" barrels. Those are alley sweepers. What's up with that?
