Cruise ship update!

Since KingDavid obviously isn't doing his job here, take a look.  What's the worst thing that could happen on a cruise ship?  Evidently, it's not being stranded off Baja California and being put on a diet of SPAM while the ship is being towed back to San Diego.  Rather, it's being stranded around the icebergs of Antarctica due to a wave knocking out the main engine and surviving on a diet of frozen SPAM--and with no ventilation system running to get rid of the smell. Thankfully, it's not like icebergs have ever taken out an ocean liner, of course.  No word on whether killer whales will eat people after they've been eating SPAM.  I'm guessing "no."

Count me unimpressed that some naval architect not only had a single engine running all systems for an ocean liner, but also didn't protect the air intake/exhaust adequately to prevent ice cold water (but it's not like there's any of that in Antarctica, of course) from taking that engine out.

  1. I saw the story at work; but, our filter won't let me go see them. They're all videos that I've seen so far on searches. Looking forward to getting home and sitting down in my comfy La-Z-Boy, in front of the fire, and laughing at the idiots who choose to take an Antarctic cruise.
