OMFG!!!

It is my birthday today.

The bad news is I really think I passed a &%#&@! kidney stone this morning. For a while there I didn't know if I could make it... pain enough to make ya sweat but not quite enough to make ya puke... though the thought did cross my mind... it started on the way to work and then subsided after I made the decision to leave work and try to make it home... so I went back to work.

  1. First of all, congrats on apparently being out of your personal "Obama recession." Second, hope you saved it for a ring for your wife--I remember being bummed that my gall "stones" were just waxy globs of cholesterol.

  2. BB, correction, I am out of the "Obama Depression". (consulting on a PTA balloon catheter project)

    But The Great Recession continues.

Save a small peice of calcium? Nope, the only proof it passed is that the pain subsided. Time will tell, time will tell.

I had gallstones too, over 12 years ago. Acute Pancreatitis is very painful. Removing the gallbladder via open surgery is no picnik either.

  3. How was my day?

Well, I had a Hurtz Doughnut as I got to work this morning.

  7. I believe it was also the Mall Diva's birthday on the 18th. Bummer about the kidney-stone, but I believe the Mall Diva (new mother of the aptly named "Baby Moose") would say, "Kidney stone? Awww, that's cute!"

    Happy belated, K-Rod!

  8. Definitely cuter than Acute Pancreatitis.
The women in my family never go there with the "you never went through childbirth"... I have had one or two painful incedences... that don't even end with the miracle of a new life.

But my favorite horrible pain story... well, I'm sure giving birth is painful, but after I was circumsized I couldn't walk for a year!!!
