Things We Learn from Gino's Blog

I had no idea that Hamm's beer is still being sold in California. Gino drinks it but apparently prefers to make a few modifications. It boggles my mind that they don't sell Hamm's in Minnesota any more.

Of course, we still want to remember the most honest ad campaign for beer ever.

Did Bush or Cheney make a visit to Canada?

The former POTUS and VP had DUI/DWIs.

And as we all have heard, Tom Emmer had two DUIs decades ago.

According to Canadian Law, they are considered members of an Inadmissible Class.

This draconian law has resulted in less tourism for Canada.
I wonder what Bush/Cheney/Emmer have to say about being part of the Inadmissible Class?

I suppose Emmer won't be bringing bus loads of seasoned citizens to Canada on drug runs.

That might be a good political strategy for Mark Dayton. He'll raise your taxes and visit Canada!!!

Perspective

You can't make this up.

Corporations do the funniest things!

A company sent out a company wide email notifying employees there would be no raises at least for the first six months of the year.
This company wide email was sent out on the morning of the day of the company celebration for how well they did the previous year!

A company is planning a large layoff between 1000 and 2000 people.
This Tuesday. (Got any lambs blood?)
